These sessions will dive deeper into the Autodesk Construction Cloud and explore best practices for managing cloud-based Civil 3D projects. Dates, titles, and session descriptions are below. We hope to see you there! - REGISTER HERE -
Jan 23rd - Referencing Civil 3D Content Between Cloud Projects or Accounts
Did you know Civil 3D cloud projects can utilize content from any ACC project, even those hosted on other accounts? In this session, we'll walk through the "Bridge" feature within the Autodesk Construction Cloud. Using bridge, Civil 3D files and folders can be shared (or synced) between cloud projects or ACC Accounts.
Feb 13th - Managing & Archiving Communications on Civil 3D Cloud Projects
Meetings and emails are significant components of civil infrastructure projects. Did you know BIM Collaborate Pro allows teams to manage these items from within the ACC platform? In this session, we'll take our first look at the Meetings and Correspondence features. These tools help store all project-related meetings, action items, emails, and attachments in a single (searchable) cloud-based repository!
Feb 27th - Sharing Civil 3D Cloud Project Files with Internal & External Stakeholders
Autodesk's Construction Cloud provides unlimited storage for your project-related files and models. It also makes it easy to share content with anyone while maintaining a digital record of all transactions! In this session, we'll explore several ways to exchange files (formally and informally) with internal or external stakeholders.
Mar 12th - Configuring Civil 3D Cloud Projects for "Multi-Team" Collaboration
Large design projects often require collaboration between multiple teams. Using BIM Collaborate Pro, each team can have its own "team space" for team-level collaboration. Each team's content can then be shared with other teams (when appropriate) for project-level collaboration. The team space approach ensures all teams have the right content at the right time! This session will demonstrate how to configure individual team spaces and share content between teams as "packages."
